There is a little story that goes along with the purchase of this item. Phil Page had these made for himself back in 1980 by Paul Bond and at the time, Phil worked for the famous MC Ranch of South East Oregon. Yes, that is the same ranch that you hear Ian Tyson sing about in his song of the same title. Phil worked very hard doing day work, checking fences, mending, branding calves, doing the real cowboy jobs, not the Hollywood jobs you see in the movies. These boots are size 111/2 mens, not that you would want to wear them, they have enough stories to tell hanging on the wall in your house. The spurs were custom made by E. Garcia and Olen Thomlasan custom made the conchos and sterling silver and George Holt custom made the spur straps. They could tell a story sitting next to many "old time" cowboy collectables, so highly valued in todays market. Try to price custom made boots with a story in today's market. They are way under priced! $1,000 |
